Independent PikPak index

How our PikPak search engine works

We index shared PikPak album titles and filenames so you can discover albums and find files by name. PikPak hosts the files; our index provides the discovery and search layer.

Find a shared album by title

Choose Albums and enter words from the album title. Free search matches whole words, and every word must match. Start with a few distinctive words, then add more if you need to narrow the results.

Free title search shows up to five album previews. The free catalog is refreshed daily, so newly indexed titles may appear after the next refresh.

Browse the daily preview

The Albums home page shows the same 20 album previews for everyone on the free plan. The selection refreshes once a day in UTC and can include up to 20 original share links marked “Free today”. Album introduction pages expose titles and cover images independently of the daily sample. Original links are not included in those SEO pages.

Search filenames with Pro

Pro enables filename search, more search-result pages, and full album workspaces. Word matching also supports word prefixes, which helps when you know only the beginning of a filename word.

Open an album workspace to search inside that album. Use file extensions such as mp4 or mkv, exclude unwanted words, or choose an exact phrase. File results in global search are not ranked by filename order; the album workspace provides a stable A–Z filename list.

When a search returns no results

Try fewer words, check spelling, or use a different part of the title. Album search matches album names rather than the filenames inside them. Switch to Files or open a full album workspace with Pro when you want to search individual filenames.

Open files on PikPak

Our independent search engine stores an index and displays available previews. Files open on PikPak through their original shared albums. A shared link can expire, change, or become unavailable, and a catalog entry does not guarantee that the original share is still accessible.
